Mr. Bajaj (b. June 10, 38) is recognized as one of the most successful business leaders of India. He heads the Bajaj Group of Companies which is a leader in a variety of manufactured products and financial services in India and abroad including motorized 2 and 3-wheelers, home appliances, electric lamps, wind energy, special alloy and stainless steel, cranes, forgings, infrastructure development, material handling equipment, travel, general and life insurance and investment, consumer finance & asset management.

Mr. Bajaj holds an Honours Degree in Economics from Delhi University, a degree in Law from Bombay University and an MBA from Harvard Business School.

Mr. Bajaj is the Chairman of the Board of many companies. He was elected to the Upper House of Parliament (Rajya Sabha 2006 - 2010).

Mr. Bajaj has received many prestigious awards and recognitions, notable being the award of 'Padma Bhushan' by the Government of India in 2001, Alumni Achievement Award by the Harvard Business School and Life Time Achievement Awards from Economic Times, Ernst & Young and CNBC TV18. Mr. Bajaj was appointed Knight in the Order of the Legion of Honour by the President of the French Republic.

Mr. Bajaj has been conferred Honorary Doctorates by 7 Universities including IIT Roorkee.

Mr. Bajaj was the President of Confederation of Indian Industry (CII - 1979-80/1999-2000). He was President of Society of Indian Automobile Manufacturers (SIAM) and Mahratta Chamber of Commerce, Industry And Agriculture (MCCIA) and Chairman of the Development Council for Automobiles and Allied Industries.

Mr. Bajaj was appointed by the Government of India the Chairman (1986-89) of the Government owned domestic carrier, Indian Airlines.

Mr. Bajaj was nominated by the President of India the Chairman of the Board of Governors of the Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay during 2003-06.

Mr. Bajaj is a Member & former Chairman of the International Business Council of the World Economic Forum, Geneva and a Member of Harvard Business School's Global Advisory Board. He is also a Member of the International Advisory Council of the Brookings Institution, Washington DC and a Member of the Executive Board of Indian School of Business.

Mr. Bajaj spear-heads the CSR initiatives of the Bajaj Group which include Jamnalal Bajaj Foundation and Shiksha Mandal and a number of social organizations including Bharatiya Yuva Shakti Trust and Ruby Hall Clinic, a large hospital in Pune as their Chairman.

Shekhar Bajaj (born on June 8, 1948) is an honours graduate in science from Pune University with an MBA from New York University. He started his career as resident director of Bajaj Sevashram Ltd in Udaipur in 1968.

During 1969-72, he was joint managing director of Bachhraj Factories Ltd, in Mumbai and took over as chief executive in 1974.

In 1975 he was appointed as part-time managing director of the Mumbai-based Bajaj International Pvt Ltd and later its whole-time managing director.

Bajaj Electricals Ltd is the company most closely associated with Mr Bajaj. In 1980, he became its chief executive and four years later, its managing director. Since 1994, he has been its chairman and managing director. This company is a leading manufacturing and marketing enterprise in the electrical and white goods appliances segment.

One of his most prestigious assignments was as member of the working group to re-draft the Companies Act, 1956. He was also a member of the Economic Affairs Committee of the Confederation of Engineering Industry and Taxation Sub-Committee of Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry.

Dr. Omkar Goswami (born on August 29, 1956) is the Founder and Chairperson of CERG Advisory Private Limited. CERG stands for the Corporate and Economic Research Group.

Dr. Goswami did his Masters in Economics from the Delhi School of Economics in 1978 and his D.Phil (Ph.D) from Oxford in 1982. He taught at Oxford, Delhi School of Economics, Tufts, Jawaharlal Nehru University, Rutgers University and the Indian Statistical Institute. From March 1997 to July 1998, he was the Editor of Business India. From August 1998 up to March 2004, he was the Chief Economist of the Confederation of Indian Industry – the apex industry organisation of India.

Manish Kejriwal, (b. November 8, 1968) is the Managing Director of Temasek Holdings Advisors India Pvt Ltd. Temasek Holdings (Private) Limited is an investment holding company headquartered in Singapore. Established in 1974, Temasek holds and manages investments in companies which are involved in a wide range of business activities, from port, shipping and logistics, to banking and financial services, airlines, telecom and media, power and utilities, and rail.

  • In India, the focus of Temasek team will mainly be on making direct investments into companies with a strong growth potential and in different private equity funds focussed on the Indian market. Temasek has invested over US $ 350 mn to take a 9.3% stake in ICICI Bank, and has set up the US $ 100 mn Merlion India Fund.
  • Prior to joining Temasek Holdings, he was a Partner at McKinsey & Company, Inc. He was the hub leader for McKinsey's corporate finance and strategy practice in India, and was responsible for merger and acquisition engagements for both Indian and international companies looking at entering the Indian market. Dr Gita Piramal (b. September 4, 1954) is an Entrepreneur and businesswoman, author and journalist, with a PhD in business history from Bombay University.

A N Roy, (born on 15 May 1950), is a distinguished former civil servant, having served in the Indian Police Service in Maharashtra and Govt of India for over 38 years. He held a wide variety assignments both in Maharashtra and the Central govt including Commissioner of Police, Aurangabad, Pune and Mumbai and retired as Director General of Police, Maharashtra, commanding a 2,25,000 strong Force .

While in Govt of India, he headed the operations of the elite Special Protection Group, looking after proximate security of Prime Minister, former PMs and their families, in which capacity he travelled extensively within India and overseas and interacted with the forces and governments of many foreign countries around the world.

He was appointed Advisor to the Governor of Andhra Pradesh when the state was under President's rule in 2014. In that capacity, he discharged effectively the responsibilities as a Minister of many departments of the state like Home, Industry and Commerce, Housing, PWD, Health, Medical Education, Social Welfare. He also dealt with the separation of Andhra Pradesh in two states AP and Telangana and supervised the General Elections of 2014 in both states.

Post retirement, Roy is engaged in the social/non-profit sector, he runs a not-for-profit company Vandana Foundation under section 8 Companies Act, for supporting people at the bottom of the pyramid with livelihood. Vandana Foundation helps widows of farmers who committed suicide in three districts of Vidarbha Wardha, Yavatmal and Amaravati to make them financially independent through micro-enterprise.

Rahul Bajaj is an Honours Graduate in Economics and Law and a Business Graduate from the Harvard Business School. He was appointed Chief Executive Officer of Bajaj Auto in 1968 and took over later as Head of the Bajaj Group of companies.

After graduating in Commerce, Mr Bajaj did his MBA from Lausanne, Switzerland. Joined as DGM in March 1983, took over as General Manager - Aurangabad Division in June 1986, as its Chief Executive in October 1988, became President of Bajaj Auto in September 1994, Executive Director in May 2000 and is Vice Chairman since July 2001.

Rajiv Bajaj graduated first in class, with distinction, in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Pune in 1988, and then completed his masters in Manufacturing Systems Engineering, with distinction, from the University of Warwick in 1990.

He has since worked at Bajaj Auto in the areas of Manufacturing & Supply Chain (1990-95), R+D and Engineering (1995-2000), and Marketing and Sales (2000-2005), and has been its Managing Director since April 2005.

His current priority is the application of the scientific principles of Homoeopathy to the task of building a brand centred strategy at Bajaj Auto with the objective of achieving its vision of being one of the world’s leading motorcycle manufacturers.

Mr. Pradeep Shrivastava joined Bajaj in April 1986. He took over as Vice President in April 2005 and became its Chief Operating Officer. He has been inducted into the Board with the position of Executive Director, w.e.f. 1 April 2016. After receiving a degree in Mechanical Engineering from IIT - Delhi, Mr. Shrivastava obtained a graduate diploma in Production and Finance from IIM - Bangalore in 1986.

Mr. Joseph started his tenure in Bajaj in July 1989 as a Graduate Trainee Engineer, took over as General Manager (R&D) in April 2005, Vice President (R&D) in April 2007 and is currently the Chief Technology Officer. He is a Mechanical Engineer from the National Institute of Technology, Bhopal.

Mr. Maheshwari joined Bajaj in July 2007 as President (Commercial Vehicle Business). He is a gold medallist Mechanical engineer from BITS, Pilani.

Mr. Sharma joined Bajaj in October 2007 as President (IB). He holds a Post Graduate Diploma in Management from IIM – Ahmedabad.

Mr. Eric Vas joined Bajaj in March 2009 as President (New Projects) and is currently President (Motorcycle Business). He is a Mechanical Engineer from College of Engg., Pune, & PGDM from IIM, Calcutta.

Mr. Kevin D’sa began his career with Bajaj in September 1978 and is presently the President (Finance). After acquiring a Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, he completed his CA in 1978 and ICWA in 1981.

Mr. Ravikumar joined Bajaj in June 1984 as an Accounts Officer and is now the President (Business Development & Assurance). He is an active member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India.

Mr. Amit Nandi joined Bajaj Auto in November 2011 as head of Probiking. He is a MBA from FMS, New Delhi and has also attended an Advanced Course in Marketing under Philip Kotler from the Kellogg School of Management, Chicago. He has over 24 years of experience in business and functional leadership roles across companies like Unilever, Marico, Bharti Airtel and Escorts.

Ravi Kyran joined Bajaj Auto in February-2017 as President (Human Resource). Prior to joining Bajaj Auto, he was with Texas Instruments (TI) in Dallas as Vice President of HR. He holds a post graduate diploma in HR from XLRI, Jamshedpur.

Mr Subash Rao joined Bajaj Auto in January 2017 as President – Retail Finance. He has a Post Graduate Diploma in Management from XLRI School of Business, Jamshedpur. He has over 25 years of experience in in business and functional leadership roles in companies like Tata Motors, GE Capital, Cummins Inc., Cisco Systems, and Harman Industries.

J Sridhar is B.Com from Madras Christian College, Madras University, LL B from New Law College, Bombay University & Masters in Management Sciences (MMS) from Symbiosis Institute of Business Management, Pune University. Sridhar is a fellow member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (1976) and the Institute of Company Secretaries of India (1978). He has done Ph. D from Savitribai Phule Pune University. He has also completed a Senior Executive Development Programme from Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad. Prior to joining Bajaj Auto as Company Secretary in 2001, he was the CFO & CS of Maharashtra Scooters Ltd (Bajaj Group) for 22 years from 1979. He was the President of the Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI) in 2000.

Mr. C.P. Tripathi joined Bajaj in January 1996 as the Vice President (Waluj Plant ), took over as Vice President (Operations) in April 2001, Vice President (Corporate) in July 2007 and Vice President (Corporate Social Responsibility) in October 2009. Currently he holds the position as Advisor (Corporate Social Responsibility). A Science Graduate from Agra University, Mr. Tripathi also holds a degree in Mechanical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur.
