Pune, 9th July 2026 - KTM, the world’s No. 1 premium motorcycle brand, today announced the launch of KTM Cup Season 4, the biggest edition yet of India’s premier one-make motorcycle racing championship. The season unfolds in stages, starting across 30+ cities, followed by the Zonals, and culminating in the Grand Finale, where category winners will earn an all-expenses-paid trip to Austria, the home of KTM. With over 2,000 riders expected to compete nationwide, KTM Cup Season 4 marks India’s largest motorcycle racing talent hunt. Building on the success of the first three seasons, Season 4 is set to significantly expand the championship’s reach and scale.
At the KTM Cup City Races, KTM owners will need to bring their own motorcycles to take on the fastest riders in their city, competing across multiple categories. By opening the championship right where riders live, KTM Cup Season 4 makes competitive racing more accessible than ever, with city winners moving to the Zonals and, ultimately, the Finale. Those who go all the way will earn an all-expenses-paid trip to Austria during the 2027 MotoGP season, where they will experience the Austrian MotoGP and visit the KTM Motohall in Mattighofen.
The championship has also benefitted from the guidance of renowned MotoGP riders. Dani Pedrosa served as Race Director for Season 3, while Jeremy McWilliams led Seasons 1 and 2. Continuing this legacy, Season 4 will feature a world-class MotoGP athlete as Race Director, with further details to be announced soon.
Speaking on the announcement, Dinesh Kulkarni, Head Probiking Business Unit said, “At KTM, racing is not just something we do; it is who we are. With KTM Cup Season 4, we are taking a significant step towards making competitive racing more accessible than ever before. By bringing KTM Cup City Races to over 30 cities, we are expanding the reach of the championship and creating opportunities for thousands of aspiring racers to experience professional motorsport. This is our biggest talent hunt yet, and we are excited to discover India’s next racing stars.”
Conducted under the aegis of the Federation of Motor Sports Clubs of India (FMSCI), KTM Cup is India’s premier one-make motorcycle racing championship, backed by KTM’s proven racing pedigree, from MotoGP and a record-breaking Dakar Rally legacy to championship-winning performances across Motocross and Enduro. Season 4 continues this legacy at the grassroots, bringing global motorsport expertise and a professional racing platform closer to Indian enthusiasts.
Registrations for KTM Cup Season 4 will open on 10th July 2026. Riders can visit https://www.ktmindia.com/pro-experience/ktm-cup-season4, KTM dealerships and KTM India’s digital platforms for more information.
