India Celebrates with Chetak: 150+ deliveries across 3 towns

Ahmedabad, 23^rd February 2023: Breaking records yet again after roaring success in sales across Pune and Nagpur, the much-loved Chetak brand met its customer promises by delivering 150 + vehicles across Hyderabad, Aurangabad, and Ahmedabad in a single day. To commemorate this moment, and with an aim to charge an electrifying future, Chetak Technology Limited, hosted a riveting event to celebrate the new scooter owners who are committed to transitioning towards a transformative and green tomorrow. The event, titled ‘Celebrate with Chetak’, marks a multicity milestone as the company continues to host similar engagements across the country, delivering vehicles at scale.

As a brand, Chetak has successfully expanded to over 50 cities with more than 35,000+ electric scooters riding the Indian roads which clearly signifies the rising consumer demand for EVs. Historically known for its uncompromising strength and durable features, Chetak continues to reign and win hearts. Chetak is powered by an IP67-rated high-tech Lithium-Ion battery, which can be easily charged using a standard household 5-amp electrical outlet. The onboard Intelligent Battery Management System (IBMS) controls charge and discharge seamlessly. The connectivity suite for Chetak includes over-the-air (OTA) software updates, Bluetooth, music changes, and more.

The Chetak comes equipped with exciting features such as:

• Fully chargeable (100%) in four hours. Once fully charged, it runs for 90+ kms in Eco Mode (Under IDC as per AIS 040).
• The only high-speed electric two-wheeler carved in steel, with flush-fitted panels for a harmonious visual aesthetic. Other leading features include an IP67 water-resistance rating and a beltless solid gear drive.
• Three riding modes (including a reverse mode) allow the rider to navigate traffic easily.
• LED headlamps with integrated horseshoe-shaped DRLs and sequential LED blinkers help in riding during all conditions.
• The Chetak App, if enabled with data, allows owners to receive notifications in case of unauthorised access or an accident.

What has made the Chetak so beloved is that it is quiet, clean, comfortable, and convenient to ride with an elegant, refined yet robust design. Built for a greener and cleaner tomorrow, the electric scooter needs minimal maintenance with a service interval of 6,000 kilometres or six months (whichever comes earlier) and a battery warranty of three years or 50,000 kilometres (whichever comes earlier).

The scooter is priced at INR 1,40,561 (ex-showroom Pune). Chetak is available in four electrifying colours – Indigo Metallic, Velutto Rosso, Brooklyn Black, and Hazelnut.
