Pune, 28 October 2026: KTM, the world’s No. 1 premium motorcycle brand, today announced the new KTM 200 Duke, which now gets Ride-by-Wire, a bi-directional Quickshifter, Traction Control and Ride Modes as standard. These features bring race-inspired electronic technology, previously associated with KTM’s larger-capacity motorcycles, to the 200 Duke. The upgrade also introduces two new colours and hardware updates. All these enhancements come at a nominal price increase of just ₹1,552, with the KTM 200 Duke priced at ₹2,07,140 (ex-showroom Delhi).

Technology and rider control

The KTM 200 Duke brings race-inspired technology through Ride-by-Wire for electronic throttle control and a bi-directional Quickshifter for clutchless upshifts and downshifts. Two Ride Modes, Street and Rain, allow riders to adapt power delivery to riding conditions, while Traction Control helps manage rear-wheel traction. The updated TFT display allows riders to manage Traction Control, Ride Modes and the Quickshifter through the instrument interface. The Crawl Assist feature is particularly useful in city traffic to reduce rider fatigue in stop-and-go conditions.

Performance and Hardware

The KTM 200 Duke delivers 25 PS of peak power and a class-leading power-to-weight ratio in the 200cc street-naked segment. It features 43 mm WP USD front forks, a wider 150-section rear tyre and a 320 mm front brake rotor. The larger forks and wider tyre give it a sharper, more aggressive stance.

New colours

The KTM 200 Duke introduces two new colour options. Liquid Carbon brings an all-black finish to the model for the first time, while Slate Grey offers a contrasting look. Together, the new colours reinforce the motorcycle’s aggressive streetfighter identity.

Speaking on the announcement, Dinesh Kulkarni, Head - Probiking Business Unit, said, “The KTM 200 Duke changed the game for performance motorcycling in India, and we have never stopped pushing it forward. Over the years, it has continued to evolve, setting benchmarks in the category. With this latest upgrade, we are bringing advanced technology inspired by KTM’s racing DNA, previously associated with our larger-capacity motorcycles, to the 200 Duke. It reflects our commitment to making performance, precision and control central to the riding experience, while staying true to the READY TO RACE spirit that defines KTM.”
