Bajaj motorcycle retail, notably of the Bajaj XCD 125 DTS-Si and the Bajaj Platina, continues to be brisk even post festive season. However, billing has been constrained by the lower production arising out of Plant
closures during Diwali. |

|
| 2. |
The capacity expansion for the Bajaj XCD 125 DTS-Si to 75000 units per month will be completed in December 2007. Consequently, it is expected that from this month onwards motorcycle sales will once again show positive
year on year growth. |
| |
|
| 3. |
The 125 cc – 250 cc motorcycles now represent close to 50% of the motorcycle industry, and Bajaj’s leading market share in this profitable segment is expected to be even greater with the expansion of the Bajaj XCD 125
DTS-Si. |
| |
|
| 4. |
The continuing de-growth in 3-wheelers reflects the sluggish state of that market. |
| |
|
| 5. |
Exports continue to exhibit strong growth. |
