Platina 125 DTS-Si motorcycle is engineered with following technological improvements.- Lean Burn Principle Carburetor
- It delivers a leaner air - fuel mixture at high loads.
- Swirl Induction
- Air - fuel mixture entering inside the engine is rotated in swirl motion because of offset port configuration.
This creates a high turbulence, which leads to high combustion pressure, effective burning of air- fuel mixture.
- Mass / weight Reduction
- Slick and durable components especially cylinder head, rocker arms, piston, cylinder block, and single down tube type
frame etc. has reduced considerable inbuilt mass of the engine / vehicle.
- Friction Reduction
- Thin piston rings and piston skirt, roller rocker arms, NR bearing at rocker arm pivot.
